The Club provides a way for younger players to “hookin2hockey” with our popular Minkey program.
Our Minkey head coach is Mark Paterson, who was a Glebe Junior himself and represented Australia as a member of the Australian men’s hockey team.
Minkeys runs each Saturday morning from 9:30am – 10:30am and the season runs from April to September each year.
Sessions take place at Jubilee Oval Glebe and are aimed at introducing children from 4 - 10 years of age to hockey in a fun and social format.
Children can register at any time throughout the year and there are no uniform or pre-requisite skill requirements. It is a beginner skills-based program.
All children must wear their own shin pads and mouthguards to participate. Hockey sticks and other equipment can be provided by the Club.
Minkey registrations open in February and can be made at any time after registrations open throughout the season (April - September). At other times of the year, please contact us at the email below so we can notify you once registrations open.
